Changeover night 2024
Another Rotary year has flown by and our new President for the Rotary year 2024-2025 Wayne O'Neill was inducted. Wayne has been a wonderful Rotary member for quite some years, and we are delighted he is taking up the helm as President. We are all very grateful to 2023-2024 President Kannan Subramanian for his dedication to the role. Rotary President celebrated in usual good form with great food and hospitality provided by Melbourne Polytechnic.

Fabulous night- great food served by Hospitality students, bad jokes shared, and a celebratory night marking the induction of Chris Shields, & appreciation of outgoing President, Peter Gilbert - his leadership, & the Board's contribution for 2020- 2021.

Environment & Conservation Committee
In 2019 this new initiative formed by P.P. Lisa DeFazio began. Our club has participated in Friends of Merri Creek clean- up , the re- wilding of Darebin Parklands, and supported Darebin Hard Rubbish Heroes. We contributed to the Global Gardens of Peace project in creating a 'Food Forrest' and garden for Thornbury Yooralla special accomodation. We are linking with 'Merri Paddle'- a local group who are exploring ways we may entice the Platypus back into the Merri Creek. We are committed to improve Environmental & Conservation causes. We welcome forging alliances with other interested parties.
